Chris Goodbaudy, founder of Thought Spark AI

Built by someone who ships his own products first

Thought Spark AI is a Portland, Oregon growth-engine studio founded by Chris Goodbaudy that builds and runs AI-search-ready websites, follow-up email, cold outreach, and video for owner-led B2B businesses.

I'm Chris Goodbaudy, and I've spent two decades in training and software: twelve years directing training and development, then ten years as an implementation manager and lead sales demonstrator rolling out a behavioral health EHR platform to dozens of clinical teams and training hundreds of clinicians on AI-enhanced documentation tools. That decade taught me how software actually gets adopted, not just shipped: the training, the workflow fit, the follow-through after go-live.

In 2026 I started building my own products to prove I could do the engineering side too, not just the implementation side. Full-stack, solo: database schema, auth, billing, and the AI features, end to end, with nobody else to hand the hard parts to.

Three of those products are live today. A fourth, Kinship, is in development ahead of its first paid agency pilots. I run Thought Spark AI out of Portland, Oregon.

What I've built

  • A supplement-tracking SaaS with subscription billing, SMS reminders, and a referral program, live and taking subscribers.

  • A real estate CRM for contacts, listings, and deals, with AI-generated drip email campaigns and reporting built in.

  • A budgeting and nutrition tracker with bank sync and recurring-transaction intelligence, built for people who hate switching between two apps.

  • A multi-tenant EHR with organization-level isolation and tiered subscriptions, in development ahead of its first agency pilots.

Why this studio exists

I built three SaaS products the way most owner-led businesses never get to: fast, cheap, and without waiting on an agency's backlog or a developer's calendar. That's the gap Thought Spark AI fills. Most small and mid-sized B2B companies know AI search is already changing how customers find a vendor, but they don't have anyone in-house who can wire up a site, follow-up email, cold outreach, and video to take advantage of it, and they don't want to hire a full team to find out if it works.

I do the AI consulting I wish existed when I started building: grounded in code I've shipped and run, not a slide deck. Every piece of the growth engine, from the site itself to the follow-up emails to the cold outreach to the video, runs on my own products before it ever runs on a client's. If a tactic doesn't hold up under my own traffic and my own paying customers, I don't sell it to you.

That's also why the implementation side matters as much as the build. Ten years of rolling out software to teams that didn't ask for it taught me that the tool is the easy part; getting a busy owner-led business to actually use it is the job. Thought Spark AI is built around that: I don't hand you a dashboard and disappear, I run the engine with you until it's producing leads you can point to.
