For manufacturers and job shops

The growth engine for manufacturers: get named when buyers ask AI who to hire.

Engineers and purchasing managers are asking AI for a shortlist of CNC shops, sheet-metal fabricators, and job shops before they ever call one. The Spark Engine builds a site AI search actually recommends, then keeps it fed with follow-up email, cold outreach, and video of your shop. We build it once, then we run it every month.

Four pieces, one subscription

Get found

A website AI search actually recommends.

What we build

  • A new site or a retrofit of what you have: up to 10 pages, built to be read by AI search the same way it's read by people
  • Schema markup, an llms.txt file, and AI crawler access set correctly from day one
  • Answer-style service pages, written the way a buyer's AI assistant actually reads them
  • 4 cornerstone articles that establish what you do and who you do it for
  • A before-and-after visibility report, run with the same checker on this page

Every month

  • 2 new AI-search articles every month
  • Site updates as the business changes, through the same request queue

About 30 minutes a month: you approve the month's article topics, then it runs.

Sample visibility report

What the free checker sends a precision CNC shop after one run. Scores and fixes are made up for the example.

Site readiness

26 / 40

AI named you

0 / 60

We asked: Who's a good precision CNC machine shop near Portland for aerospace brackets?

AI named: Three other shops. You were not named.

What to fix, in order

  1. 1.When buyers ask AI, it names other businesses, not yours
  2. 2.No answer-style content for AI to quote
  3. 3.No llms.txt file
Get followed up

Every inbound lead hears back before it goes cold.

What we build

  • A follow-up sequence for every inbound lead, written and set live before launch
  • A landing page and lead-capture form that routes straight to your sales inbox or CRM
  • Reply routing so a lead lands with a named person on your team within the hour

Every month

  • One newsletter a month to your existing customers and leads, drafted from that month's video
  • The follow-up sequence refreshed as your offers change

About 30 minutes a month: you skim the newsletter draft before it sends.

Sample follow-up email

What a lead hears back the morning after sending a print through a CNC shop's quote form. Written for a fictional shop.

Sent the next morning, from the owner's address

Your bracket print, and what happens next

Thanks for sending the 6061 bracket print yesterday. It's in front of our estimator now, and you'll have a quote back by Thursday.

Two quick questions so the number is right the first time: how many per release, and is the anodize callout Type II or Type III?

If it's easier, reply with a phone number and I'll call you. Either way, you'll know who's making your part.

Dan

Go find them

Cold outreach that runs itself, and doesn't burn your domain.

What we build

  • Sending domains bought, configured, and warmed before the first send
  • A verified list of 1,000 contacts in your category, ready to go
  • A 4-touch cold sequence written and set live, CAN-SPAM compliant

Every month

  • Up to 1,000 new verified contacts reached every month
  • Every reply forwarded to your named sales rep within the hour, with a suggested response

About 30 minutes a month: you check the report and any replies that need your judgment.

Sample cold sequence

The 4 emails a design engineer or buyer receives from a CNC shop over two weeks. Plain text, one link, under 120 words each.

  1. Day 0who holds a tenth

Quick one. We run five-axis and live-tool lathes with a CMM on every job, and we ship aerospace brackets and medical housings at plus or minus two thousandths. If a print of yours is stuck waiting on a vendor, send it over and you'll have a quote in a day.

  2. Day 3the part between two vendors

Most shops we hear from have one part nobody wants to quote: tight tolerance, low volume, or a material the usual vendor won't touch. That's the part we want to see. Reply with the print and we'll tell you straight whether we can build it.

  3. Day 824 seconds of the floor

Here's a short video of the shop, the machines, and the inspection setup, so you can see who'd be making your parts before you send anything. Link below. If it's the right fit, a quote is one email away.

  4. Day 15closing the loop

I'll take the quiet as timing and stop here. If a print ever lands on your desk that needs to hold a tenth, the offer stands: send it, and you'll have a number back in a day.

Look the part

Long-form video, without you ever going on camera.

What we build

  • A video kit: your voice, brand templates, caption style, and long-form and short-form formats set up
  • An optional AI presenter, if you want a face on camera without putting yours there
  • Your first long-form video, narrated over screen capture, footage, and graphics

Every month

  • 4 videos a month through a request queue, most delivered in 2 to 3 business days
  • Long-form requests shipped in stages every 48 hours, instead of one finished-or-nothing deadline

About 30 minutes a month: an optional recording if you want to add your own footage, never required.

A ListingStack walkthrough, built the same way we'd build yours

Narrated over screen capture and graphics. No camera, no on-camera talent.

See the kind of video we make

Two 24-second samples: a CNC job shop owner and a sheet-metal fabricator, each on camera talking through what the shop does.

Sample A: precision CNC job shop

Dan walks through the shop, the machines, and what ships.

Sample B: sheet-metal fabrication

Marta covers laser, brake, weld, and powder coat under one roof.

Neither owner is a real person. Dan, Marta, their voices, and their shops were all generated for this page. That is the point: your capability video gets a face and a voice without anyone on your team stepping in front of a camera. For longer, narrated work, the Look the part tab above has a full product walkthrough.

The Launch Build

  • An AI-search-ready website: a new site or a retrofit of what you have, up to 10 pages, with schema markup, an llms.txt file, AI crawler access set correctly from day one, and answer-style service pages written the way a buyer's AI assistant reads them
  • 4 cornerstone articles that establish what you do and who you do it for
  • A follow-up drip sequence, written and set live
  • A cold outreach sequence, written and set live, with sending domains bought and warmed
  • Your first long-form video with the AI presenter
  • A before-and-after visibility report, so you can see exactly what changed

About 21 days from kickoff. Nothing goes live until it's ready to work.

The Engine, every month after

  • 4 videos
  • 2 live sequences, new or refreshed
  • Up to 1,000 new verified contacts reached every month
  • 2 new AI-search articles
  • A report on the 1st: what shipped, what it reached, and what to do next

Our guarantee

Any month you get fewer than 4 videos, 2 live sequences, or 2 new AI-search articles, that month is free.

Not happy within the first 14 days of the Engine? We refund your first Engine month, and you keep everything we made.

Built by someone who ships this on his own products first

Chris Goodbaudy

I'm Chris Goodbaudy, based in Portland. My background is two decades of training and software: twelve years directing training and development, then ten years as the implementation manager rolling a behavioral health EHR out to clinical teams, which is where I learned how buyers actually evaluate a vendor before they ever pick up the phone. Since 2026 I've been building my own SaaS products solo: Stack Ritual, ListingStack, and Money and Macros are live, and Kinship is in development.

I built the manufacturing version of this engine because the pattern is obvious once you look for it: engineers and purchasing managers are already asking AI for a shortlist of CNC shops and sheet-metal fabricators before they call anyone, and most shops have no content for that AI to find. A shop with a great reputation and no web presence past a Google Business listing is invisible to that search.

In the first 90 days, your shop gets a site built the way AI search actually reads it, a capability video with a face and a voice even if nobody on your team gets on camera, and outreach running to the buyers who fit your work. Every piece runs on my own products before it ever runs on a client's.

Frequently asked questions

How much does this cost?

A one-time Launch Build to get everything live, then a monthly subscription for the Engine. Pause or cancel anytime, and founding seats lock in a lower monthly rate for as long as you stay subscribed.

When does the monthly charge start?

Your first monthly charge lands 21 days after checkout, whatever the build status is at that point. We'll have kicked off well before then.

What's the contract?

Month to month once the Engine starts. No term commitment: pause or cancel anytime, and a paused month isn't billed.

What happens right after I buy?

You'll get a welcome email with a link to book your kickoff call and a short list of intake questions to reply with: your brand, the services you want to lead with, your competitors, and any sending-domain preferences. No form to fill out, just reply to the email.

Why bank payment first?

Bank payment (ACH) keeps more of your payment going toward the work instead of card fees. A card option is right there if you'd rather use it; it just takes a moment longer to set up at checkout.

What do I actually have to do?

One 45-minute kickoff call, then about 30 minutes a month across the whole Engine: approve the month's plan, skim a newsletter draft, and take the calls the outreach earns you. Recording your own footage is optional, never required.

Whose domain sends the cold email, and will it hurt our main site?

Cold outreach goes out from dedicated sending domains we buy and warm up for you, never your main domain. Your main site's email and search reputation stay untouched.

What happens after the founding seats are gone?

The first 5 clients keep their founding rate for as long as they stay subscribed. Once those seats are filled, the monthly rate goes up for anyone who signs after.

Do we own any of this if we leave?

Yes. Domains, footage, templates, lists, sequences, and the page all transfer to you. Pause or cancel anytime.

We've been burned by a marketing vendor before. Why is this different?

Because you can check it on a calendar. First video in your hands by day 5, your site and sending setup live by day 14, first outreach out by day 21, first report on day 30 with videos shipped, people reached, replies, and meetings. If any month delivers fewer than 4 videos, 2 live sequences, or 2 new AI-search articles, that month is free. And if you're not happy after the first 14 days of the Engine, we refund that month and you keep everything we made.

Can we see results from other clients?

Not yet, and we'd rather say so than dress it up. The videos on this page are real work, and the site you're reading is built the way we build yours. Client case studies don't exist because the Engine is new. That's why the first five seats carry a founding rate that never goes up, in exchange for a short written case study at 90 days.

Do you guarantee meetings?

No. Here's what we know and what we don't. Half of B2B software buyers now start vendor research with an AI assistant more often than Google (G2, March 2026, up from 29 percent a year earlier), and 85 percent think more highly of a company AI includes in its answer. That's why the Engine makes you citable first. What we don't have yet is enough client months to promise a meeting count, so we won't. What we guarantee is delivery, every month, in writing.

Nobody here wants to be on camera.

Nobody has to be. The default video is narrated over screen capture, your photos and footage, and graphics, like the samples on this page. An AI presenter is available if you want a face. If an owner or rep wants to record a 2-minute phone clip from the floor, we'll use it, but it's an input, never a requirement.

Is cold email legal, and will it get us flagged as spam?

Yes, it's legal for business-to-business email under CAN-SPAM, and every send follows it: your real name and company, a physical mailing address, and a working opt-out on every message. Sends go out from dedicated domains we warm up for you, never your main domain, to verified addresses only, at a volume mailbox providers treat as normal. Replies of 'no' are honored the same day.

Is this AI-written content that Google will penalize?

The pages and articles live on your domain, are written from your inputs and your shop's actual work, and a person reviews every one before it publishes. No link networks, no sponsored placements on sites nobody reads, no content farms. Google and the AI assistants reward the same thing here: specific, accurate pages about what you actually do.

Is this only for manufacturers?

The engine is built around manufacturing buyers: engineers and purchasing managers searching for a supplier and asking AI for a shortlist. The samples on this page are a CNC shop and a sheet-metal fabricator, and the content, keywords, and outreach lists are tuned for that search. If you run a different owner-led B2B business, book a call and we'll tell you honestly whether it's a fit before you pay for anything.
