The need

Account managers spend the 60 to 90 days before each group's renewal re-keying rates from carrier PDFs into spreadsheets and decks. Zenewals extracts the numbers, builds the comparison and drafts the deliverable so one person can carry more groups.

What was hard

   Single-pass renewal extraction

   One pass reads the renewal letter using a cached system prompt and a per-carrier format annex.

   Graceful truncation

   When output is cut off, partial plans are kept with a note instead of failing the whole document.

   Several plans in one letter are parsed into separate structured records.

   Every new carrier layout teaches the extractor, so coverage grows with use.
